How it all began
I started photographing wildlife because I was already out there every day, guiding safaris across the Maasai Mara, Amboseli, and Lake Nakuru. It felt wrong not to keep the moments I was witnessing — a lion coalition mid-stride, a herd crossing at first light, an elephant matriarch watching over her family. The camera became a way to hold onto what I already knew intimately from years behind the wheel.

My promise to you

I know a safari can feel like a lot to take in — where to look, when to shoot, whether you'll actually see what you came for. That's where guiding and photography meet for me: I know these parks, I know many of the animals individually, and I use that knowledge to put you in the right place at the right time. Whether you're shooting your own photos or picking up a print of mine, you're getting images grounded in real field experience, not luck.
Kind Words from my clients
Usually I overthink being in photos, but this felt easy from the beginning. Our kids didn’t sit still for more than a second, and somehow those ended up being some of my favorite images in the whole gallery. Everything felt natural, relaxed, and completely like us. Seeing the photos afterward made me realize how many beautiful little moments happen in the middle of the chaos.

There are so many small moments in our gallery that I didn’t even realize Dahlia was noticing at the time. Looking through the photos now feels so personal because they really remind us of what life felt like back then. What makes these photos even more meaningful is knowing that the little things we once thought were ordinary ended up becoming the memories we treasure most.

Things you need to know about me
I shoot from experience, not guesswork. Years of guiding mean I know where the wildlife will be.

Patience over posing. The best wildlife images come from waiting, not staging.

Guiding comes first. My photography grew directly out of years on safari, not a studio background.
